Uncharted Progress LLC
I'm personally invested in serving others by providing solutions borrowed from ABA so that you can attack barriers to success with strategy and in turn increase the quality of your life. That being said- I want you to accomplish this in the least amount of sessions possible but to a degree so that you maintain your progress.

My Story
My name is Jamie Smith and prior to entering the behavioral realm, I worked in healthcare for 7 years with/as direct care staff in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Urgent Care and Residential Mental Health Settings. At that time I began to recognize that more often than not, issues which were behavioral-in-nature were not met with evidence-based behavioral solutions costing folks their physical and financial independence from medications, quality of life and simply their choice. I observed patients being told "do this", sometimes receiving a very basic rationale before leaving without any support between visits or behavioral alternatives to consider. A lot has changed in 20 years as more clinicians expand their research (even my veterinarian is a behaviorist)!
I obtained my M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Southern Illinois University in 2014. Today I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Certified Sleep-Science Coach with over 10 years of behavioral consultation. Some of my previous experience includes, but is not limited, to working with: Individuals who are seeking reduction in behaviors such as gambling, overeating, avoidance symptoms, etc.; Children (and their caregivers) in the state dependency system; Adults and children living with disabilities (and their caregivers); Folks interested in psychedelic medicine in addition to ABA businesses of varying volumes. More recently, I have ventured into assisting individuals who are interested in tackling issues related to bedtime resistance in an attempt to increase the quality of sleep and Behavioral Economics to further examine the human decision making process in the real world.

ABA can effectively be applied to any area in an attempt to increase one's quality of life. I have found that people are adopting solutions that are not effective, not behavior-analytic, potentially harmful long-term or from sources such as social media. I believe that more people in the future would succeed using evidence-based solutions if given the opportunity and support. I have made it my mission to provide ABA solutions for everyday people with everyday issues.
